Ledger has asked retailers and distributors in Hong Kong and six Southeast Asian countries, including Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam and Malaysia, to stop selling its hardware wallets and remove the products from store shelves, Cointelegraph reported.
Ledger said incidents confirmed so far have been limited to Southeast Asia, and it has not identified any cases of asset theft linked to devices purchased in other regions. The move expands on an earlier request by Ledger for distributor CryptoBilis to halt sales and shipments.
