The U.S. government is inviting CEOs from major corporations including Nvidia, Apple, ExxonMobil, and Boeing to accompany President Donald Trump on a visit to China, Reuters reported. In an interview on May 7, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said it would be an honor if he were invited, adding that it would be a "great honor" to represent the United States with President Trump in China. Regarding the specific schedule, Huang commented that any announcements should be made by the president himself. Executives from Qualcomm, Blackstone, Citigroup, and Visa are also reportedly among those being invited. According to sources, Citigroup CEO Jane Fraser has already received an invitation, and Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon is also expected to attend if the trip proceeds as planned. Many of the CEOs were reportedly invited on the evening of May 6. Bloomberg noted that Huang's remarks suggest the head of the largest U.S. company by market capitalization has not yet been invited to join the visit.
