Revolutionizing user experience

The collaboration, announced via a blog post published by BingX on Monday, aims to revolutionize the crypto trading experience by combining BingX’s robust platform with AstraBit’s cutting-edge technology.

AstraBit empowers BingX users with total control over risk and exposure in their trades through automated trading strategies powered by artificial intelligence and machine learning. Users can leverage AstraBit’s technology to customize and hyper-personalize their trading strategies, maximizing their trading potential in the dynamic crypto market. AstraBit-powered bots follow preset instructions, but users have the flexibility to adjust parameters such as stop loss and take profit at any time, even in the middle of a trade.

Security measures

To ensure the highest level of security, AstraBit operates 24/7, utilizing two-factor authentication (2FA) and implementing advanced security measures such as machine learning intrusion detection systems and anti-ransomware software. Importantly, AstraBit cannot withdraw funds from users’ wallets, providing an additional layer of protection.

Elvisco Carrington, PR and Communications Director at BingX, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating: “The integration with AstraBit helps revolutionize the crypto trading experience. By combining BingX’s robust platform with AstraBit’s cutting-edge technology, we are empowering our users to maximize their trading potential and achieve greater success in the dynamic crypto market. This partnership aligns perfectly with our commitment to delivering excellence and driving the industry forward.”

MT5 integration

In addition to the collaboration with AstraBit, BingX made headlines earlier this year by announcing its direct integration with MetaTrader 5 (MT5), making it one of the first crypto platforms to connect with the world’s most popular trading platform. MT5 offers advanced features, including a wide range of technical indicators, depth of market (DOM) functionality, and support for trading on multiple exchanges. It is known for its versatility, supporting various asset classes, including stocks and futures.

The integration with MT5 allows BingX users to activate their BingX MT5 accounts and trade futures directly from MT5’s user-friendly interface. This seamless connection optimizes the trading process, leveraging cutting-edge innovations from the world of traditional finance. Users can expect a safe and stable trading experience on cryptocurrencies like BTC and ETH, accompanied by advanced analysis tools for quantitative trading and customized functions.

By tapping into the MT5 platform, BingX not only enhances the trading experience for its existing user base but also opens the door for forex traders on MT5 to easily enter the world of cryptocurrencies. This integration provides a smooth transition for forex traders, allowing them to explore the crypto market with ease.

The partnership with AstraBit and the integration with MT5 demonstrate BingX's efforts in driving the business forward. Those efforts are further evidenced by a decision taken by the firm earlier this month to expand outside of its Southeast Asia base market into the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).

Titi Financial Announces $TITI Airdrop

Titi Financial Announces $TITI AirdropTiti Financial, the team behind Titi Protocol, a project that aims to further its $TiUSD algorithmic stablecoin, announced that it is currently distributing the first round of airdrops of its $TITI governance token.Taking to social media, the Singapore-based project encouraged interested parties to check their eligibility for the airdrop on the project’s website. In a Medium blog post, the project stated: “In order to give back to the users who have supported us all the way, TiTi protocol has decided to conduct the first round of airdrops to community users.”An algorithmic stablecoinTiTi Protocol is a decentralized, 100% collateral-backed, ‘use-to-earn’ algorithmic stablecoin. It aims to provide diversified and decentralized financial services based on the crypto-native stablecoin system, with an autonomous monetary policy.Alongside $TITI as the project’s governance token, $TiUSD is the accompanying stablecoin issued by TiTi Protocol.Initial DEX offering (IDO)The airdrop runs until May 9. Once that process has been completed, the project intends to launch on mainnet through an initial DEX offering (IDO). IDO volume will be 10 million $TITI, 1% of total issuance, with an initial price per token of $0.06.Launching on the Ethereum blockchain, the IDO commences on May 10, with the sale running until 8:00 UTC on May 13. Buyers have until 08:00 UTC on May 14 to claim their tokens. Total token supply has been set at 1,000,000,000 $TITI. Purchase amount parameters have been set, with a minimum to maximum range extending from $100 to $3,000. The $TITI token can be purchased using USDC, USDT or DAI stablecoin. The project has advised participants to prepare by having an Ethereum compatible wallet available, such as MetaMask, Gnosis Safe or WalletConnect.$3.5 million fund raiseLast month, the project disclosed that it had been successful in raising $3.5 million in funding. The funding round was led by California-based Spartan Group, a blockchain advisory and asset management firm. Other venture investors included SevenX Ventures, Incuba Alpha, DeFi Alliance, Agnostic Fund, Fourth Revolution Capital and Solidity Venture. A number of individual investors associated with Alpha Venture DAO and 0x1b from Fold Finance also participated.Overcoming algorithmic design shortcomingsIt’s interesting to see a renewed interest in algorithmic stablecoins after the epic collapse of Terra Luna in 2022. Additionally, it’s noteworthy that an institutional investment appetite exists given that backdrop. Lead investor Spartan Group cited the depegging risk alongside poor liquidity as being a known problem where algorithmic stablecoins are concerned. However, the investor believes that the Titi Protocol has the necessary design elements incorporated to counteract these issues. One of the key features of the protocol is that liquidity providers only need to provide single sided liquidity to Titi automated market makers (AMMs). The protocol itself covers the other side of that process, doing the math to mint the equivalent value of TiUSD.In April, the project also announced a partnership with Alpha Venture DAO. The decentralized venture capital fund is financed by its own community. Furthermore, Titi Finance can call on the expertise and skills of the DAOs members.Photo by CoinWire Japan on Unsplash

Putin approves inclusion of digital ruble within Russian tax code

Putin approves inclusion of digital ruble within Russian tax codeRussian President Vladimir Putin has given his approval to a new law that incorporates the digital ruble into Russia’s tax code, marking a significant step in the country’s push towards digital currency adoption.Photo by Egor Filin on UnsplashAuthority to recover fundsThe development was reported by Russian news outlet Telesputnik on Tuesday. The legislation introduces terms such as “digital ruble” and “digital ruble wallet” into the tax code. It outlines the legal framework for these digital assets. Notably, the law grants bailiffs and court-appointed individuals the authority to recover central bank digital currency (CBDC) funds from wallets in cases where taxpayers lack sufficient fiat in their bank accounts. Moreover, the law empowers tax authorities to suspend transactions on digital ruble wallets and request documentation from platform operators to confirm fund withdrawals from a taxpayer’s account. In a move aimed at streamlining the process, confiscated digital coins can be transferred directly to the Russian Treasury. This legislation, the second major CBDC-related law passed in 2023, signals Russia’s interest in fast-tracking the implementation of its digital ruble. Despite conflicting statements, the Ministry of Finance anticipates that all Russians will have the opportunity to use digital ruble wallets for payments by 2024. However, the Central Bank has indicated a potentially delayed national roll-out, stating it may not occur before 2025.Key provisions outlined in the new law include defining the Central Bank’s role as the “operator of the digital ruble platform” and establishing liability procedures if the bank fails to fulfill these obligations. Additionally, the law addresses the taxation of transactions involving digital rubles, with exemptions for Value Added Tax (VAT) on account opening and holding.Working around sanctionsAs Russia edges closer to the digital ruble roll-out, the nation faces economic challenges due to ongoing U.S. and EU sanctions. Moscow views the CBDC as a strategic tool in international trade, aiming to leverage it to navigate economic restrictions. Government officials believe the digital ruble will play a crucial role in reducing costs and risks for domestic firms engaged in foreign trade. The Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), a five-member economic bloc including Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan, is exploring the potential for cross-border CBDC functions. Belarus and Kazakhstan are also expediting their CBDC projects, with a focus on cross-border trading capabilities.Earlier this month, a Russian politician could begin to use their respective CBDCs for bilateral trade deals as early as next year. Even before sanctions hit, both Russia and China had been working towards de-dollarization for some time.Ongoing pilot programThe Central Bank is actively piloting the digital ruble in 11 Russian cities alongside 13 partner commercial banks. Earlier this month, the bank stated that “the pilot will continue at least until the end of 2024 and, if necessary, will be extended.” The Central Bank added that “only after the completion of the pilot will the digital ruble be introduced into mass circulation.”A group of 16 banks is set to join the trial in the coming year. The finance ministry aims to utilize the digital ruble for government subsidies and welfare payments, with plans for implementation in 2024.
