Games of different genres and platforms

Sevenline Labs is currently operating a Web3-powered esports tournament platform called Miracle Play. Leveraging application programming interfaces (APIs), the platform offers games of different platforms of genres on blockchain networks. It enables mobile, desktop, console and Web3 gamers to engage in diverse tournaments and earn rewards from competitions.

Sevenline’s inaugural service, operating on the Polygon Network, has successfully completed a closed beta test specifically targeted at Indonesian communities. Currently, the company is in the process of conducting an open beta test. Looking ahead, Sevenline is planning to extend its support to various chains compatible with Ethereum virtual machines (EVMs). This expansion includes notable blockchain platforms such as Avalanche, Binance Smart Chain, Oasys, Solana and Klaytn. The ultimate objective of Sevenline is to orchestrate large-scale tournaments between different mainnets, with each of them representing a distinct faction.

Through the collaboration between NEOPIN and Sevenline Labs, NEOPIN’s global partners will introduce their Web3 games to the Miracle Play platform. This move allows users to voluntarily host and participate in various tournaments, thereby enhancing the visibility and popularity of these games. Concurrently, Web3 gaming companies that have formed partnerships with Sevenline will be incorporated into the NEOPIN ecosystem.

Native tokens to be supported

The integration of the NEOPIN wallet with Miracle Play is a strategic move that aims to attract a global user base, particularly those who have completed Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks. This strategy presents a win-win scenario for both NEOPIN and Miracle Play. NEOPIN benefits by gaining access to a dedicated community of Web3 gamers who will actively organize and partake in tournaments on the Miracle Play platform. In return, Miracle Play taps into the decentralized finance (DeFi) user base associated with NEOPIN. Furthermore, both platforms plan to support their native tokens — the NEOPIN (NPT) token and the Miracle Play (MPT) token in the future.

Ethan Kim, CEO of NEOPIN, expressed that the partnership will be beneficial in three aspects: attracting Web3 gaming partners, acquiring mutual users and expediting the adoption of the Web3 gaming ecosystem. He emphasized NEOPIN’s commitment to accelerating the global expansion of the NEOPIN ecosystem through these strategic efforts in promoting the Web3 gaming sector.

The fund targets professional investors and will concentrate on U.S. dollar bonds with an investment-grade rating. Meta Lab wrote:”We have learned that this will be the first fixed-income tokenized fund introduced by a Chinese financial institution in Asia with a tokenization arrangement. The fund is exclusively available to professional investors and primarily invests in investment grade U.S. dollar bonds.”Meta Lab added, “The offering is set to be managed by HGI, a subsidiary of Harvest Fund in Hong Kong, with Meta Lab HK providing the tokenization solution.”The tokenization of the fund, a process transforming traditional financial assets into digital tokens, is expected to enhance accessibility and efficiency for investors. The notification to Hong Kong’s securities regulator has been duly completed, underscoring the compliance and regulatory adherence of the initiative. The move comes amidst a series of noteworthy developments emerging from Asia, occurring against the backdrop of persistent regulatory challenges facing the cryptocurrency industry in the United States.CoinFund market entryThis announcement follows closely on the heels of CoinFund, a New York-based investment firm, which revealed its plans to expand services into Asia earlier this week. Choosing Hong Kong as the inaugural location for this expansion, CoinFund cited the city’s appeal to crypto talents as a key factor. As Asia takes strides in pioneering tokenized funds, it suggests a competitive landscape in digital asset development that could rival the United States. It’s likely that Hong Kong is providing a workable environment for Harvest Global to take this tokenized product to market. In August, the local regulator, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA), published a report where it indicated an interest in pursuing tokenization as a means to improve aspects of the bond market. The report presented outcomes of Project Evergreen, an initiative the HKMA had been running to examine the potential of tokenization, which also incorporated the launch of a first-of-its-kind tokenized green bond.Regional tokenization interestRecent weeks have also seen further efforts being made within the Asian region in terms of bond tokenization. Last week, SC Ventures, the Singaporean investment subsidiary of British banking group Standard Chartered, unveiled a new platform called Libeara. That platform is working towards the launch of the first-ever tokenized Singapore dollar government bond fund.In the same week, the Bureau of the Treasury in the Philippines announced that it is issuing $179 million in one-year tokenized bonds, with the bonds being facilitated by the Development Bank of the Philippines and the Land Bank of the Philippines.

This accounted for nearly 27% of the city’s total GDP. It suggests that the city is putting a strategic focus on technological development and innovation.Complex blockchain strategyChina’s stance on blockchain technology has been complex. While the Chinese authorities have been rigorous in regulating private blockchain enterprises, they have simultaneously championed government-led blockchain initiatives.President Xi Jinping, during the inauguration of the 2023 Shanghai Cooperation Organization Conference (SCO), highlighted the significance of central bank digital currencies (CBDC) in expanding the use of local currencies for settlements among SCO member countries. In a move to stimulate domestic spending, the Chinese government recently distributed over 100 million yuan worth of digital yuan CBDC to its residents.China’s promotion of its digital yuan has been unrivaled. Turkish Lira emerges as dominant fiat trading pair on Binance

Turkish Lira emerges as dominant fiat trading pair on BinanceThe Turkish Lira (TRY) claimed the top spot as the most influential fiat trading pair on Binance throughout the month of September, as per the latest research from the leading cryptocurrency exchange.Photo by PublicDomainPictures on Pixabay75% of all fiat volumeAccording to a report by Cointelegraph on Friday, despite being the fourth-largest crypto market globally in terms of transaction volume, following the United States, India and the United Kingdom, the Turkish Lira commanded a staggering 75% of all fiat volume in early September. This surge in the TRY trading pair is attributed to a recent influx of crypto investors into the Turkish market. In its analysis last month, crypto market data provider Kaiko put Turkish Lira dominance at 81% on Binance. Kaiko also pointed to growth in the volume of the Brazilian Real on Binance, while dominance of the British Pound and the Euro were fading. It’s important to note that the disproportionate level of lira-based fiat volume on the Binance exchange may also have come about due to difficulties Binance has had in recent months in keeping various fiat on and off-ramps open. In June Binance US suspended USD deposits while pausing fiat withdrawals. It has also faced disruption when it comes to Euro payments, withdrawals and deposits. In May Binance Australia users experienced difficulties relative to AUD deposits and withdrawals following a decision to terminate the availability of PayID services to Australian account holders.27% new crypto sector participantsBinance’s research revealed that 27% of participants in Turkey initiated their crypto investment journey within the past year, with 8% joining in the last six months alone. Most respondents indicated holding up to $175 (5,000 TRY) in cryptocurrencies, expressing a strong inclination towards investing in real estate. The profitability factor emerged as a significant motivator for Turkey’s interest in crypto, with ease of monitoring, no minimum threshold, and low transaction costs standing out as key drivers for new investors. However, the inherent risks associated with crypto investments contribute to the hesitancy observed among many Turkish investors. The evolving landscape of crypto adoption in Turkey is evident in the statistics, showing a substantial increase from 16% to 40% over the last three years. Chainalysis’ Global Crypto Adoption Index 2023 ranks Turkey at 12th place. Moreover, the country received humanitarian aid in the form of cryptocurrency during the 2023 earthquake, underscoring the growing integration of digital assets in various aspects of Turkish society.Protecting long-term wealthA report by KuCoin earlier this year identified a marked increase in crypto investors in Turkey. It found that one of the main motivations for the pursuit of crypto investments in Turkey was the desire to create long-term wealth. Recent years have seen the Turkish sovereign currency suffer from runaway inflation. Recent data put the year-on-year inflation rate at 59%.It’s likely that the ongoing loss of buying power of the Turkish Lira is a key motivator for Turkish citizens in choosing to onboard into crypto, in an effort to safeguard their savings and wealth.
