BTC sees $1.34B net outflow as ETH inflows top $1B

Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) have demonstrated sharply contrasting exchange flow dynamics this week, according to an analysis by DeFi analytics layer Sentora, formerly known as IntoTheBlock. The firm's data shows a net outflow of approximately $1.34 billion in Bitcoin, indicating a significant movement of BTC from exchanges to private wallets. Sentora noted that this trend suggests a decrease in immediate selling pressure and a strengthening preference among investors for long-term holding. In contrast, Ethereum experienced a net inflow of $1.03 billion onto exchanges. This increase in exchange liquidity, following recent ETH price appreciation, could be interpreted as a sign of profit-taking or concerns over a potential oversupply.
