September 02, 2026, 7:04 PM
The TAC network has remained halted for more than 10 days after an exploit drained all funds from a bonded staking pool on Aug. 22, CryptoSlate reported. The network stopped at block 24,671,475, and block production has yet to resume. In a post-incident report, the TAC Foundation said the attack drained 28.6% of total supply from the staking collateral pool, while the overall TAC token supply itself neither increased nor decreased. The foundation plans to use treasury reserves to deploy 1.26 billion TAC for relief.
