U.S. SEC chairman calls crypto asset rules a historic move

U.S. SEC Chairman Paul Atkins described “Regulation Crypto Assets” as the SEC’s most historic step to cement the United States as a global crypto hub, Cointelegraph reported. The SEC had previously formally proposed the crypto asset rules, which include two tailored exemptions from securities-law registration requirements for certain crypto investment contracts.
