Coinbase appoints Anthony Armstrong to board

Coinbase has appointed Anthony Armstrong, who previously served as CFO at xAI and X, to its board, The Block reported. The appointment expands the board to 10 members from nine, and Armstrong is also set to serve on Coinbase’s audit committee. Coinbase said Armstrong had previously worked as a senior adviser at the U.S. Department of Government Efficiency, or D.O.G.E. The company added he is not related to CEO Brian Armstrong.
