Survey: 49.5% of Korean investors view U.S. tariffs as negative for crypto, expect price dropsAccording to a survey of 2,000 individuals conducted by CoinNess and Cratos from March 25 to 28, which tracked weekly trends among Korean cryptocurrency investors, 21.4% of respondents expect Bitcoin's (BTC) value to increase or significantly jump this week, a decrease from last week's 36.8%. Meanwhile, 38.2% predict a stable market, down from 42.1% last week, while 40.4% anticipate a decline or sharp drop, up from 21.1% previously. When asked about the overall market sentiment, 44.1% of participants felt neutral. 23% expressed optimism or extreme optimism, while 32.9% indicated feelings of fear or extreme fear. In response to a question about the potential short-term impact on the crypto market from the Trump administration's reciprocal tariffs set to be introduced on April 2, 49.5% of respondents anticipate a negative effect, potentially leading to price drops. Meanwhile, 33.4% believe that the tariffs have already been priced in, expecting the market to rebound once uncertainties are resolved. The remaining 17.1% predict that the market will not react to the tariffs.
