Upbit to suspend deposits and withdrawals for ETH and L2 tokens due to hard fork

South Korean crypto exchange Upbit announced on its website that it will temporarily suspend deposits and withdrawals for Ethereum (ETH), ERC-based tokens and various Ethereum layer-2 (L2) assets starting May 7 at 06:00 UTC. The suspension is due to an upcoming Ethereum network hard fork. Affected L2 assets include ANIME, ARB, BOUNTY, LZM, MLK, UXLINK, BRETT, CARV, KAITO, PI, VIRTUAL, BLAST, CELO, LSK, MAGIC, MTL, WCT, POL, GMT, SCR, SWELL and TAIKO.
