Cardano’s Midnight Network to airdrop NIGHT tokens in July

The Cardano ecosystem has released a whitepaper outlining the NIGHT token airdrop for its privacy-focused Midnight Network, set to begin in July 2025, according to The Crypto Basic. With a total supply of 24 billion tokens, NIGHT will be distributed across eight blockchains—XRP Ledger, Bitcoin, Solana, Cardano, Avalanche, BNB Chain, Ethereum and Basic Attention Token—based on a snapshot taken on June 11. Users holding at least $100 worth of native tokens on any of these networks at the time of the snapshot will be eligible. Notably, ADA holders will receive 50% of the total supply.
