Altcoins' average monthly exchange flow precedes sharp rallies in altcoin prices, says analyst

In a recent update on X, crypto analyst Axel Adler Jr. noted that the average monthly exchange flow of altcoins now lies at $1.6 billion, which is lower than the annual average of $2.5 billion. The analyst considers such "moderate flow" as a signal of asset consolidation and growing accumulation potential prior to the next altseason wave. According to the post, the average exchange flow of altcoins dropped below the $1.6 billion monthly baseline in early 2023, the second half of 2023 and August–September 2024. "In each instance, low exchange flows preceded significant altcoin price rallies," the analyst highlighted.
