Cipher Mining reports $46M Q2 loss, holds $112M in BTC

Nasdaq-listed Bitcoin (BTC) miner Cipher Mining announced in an Aug. 7 press release on GlobeNewswire that it ended the second quarter (Q2) with a net loss of $46 million (–$0.12 per share) and adjusted earnings of $30 million ($0.08 per diluted share). The firm also disclosed it holds $112 million worth of BTC and has 16.8 EH/s of hashing capacity, on track to reach 23.5 EH/s by Q3.
