Swedish fintech Klarna launches stablecoin for international payments

Swedish fintech company Klarna Bank AB announced on X the launch of its first stablecoin, KLARNAUSD. The stablecoin is built on the Stripe blockchain and is intended for use in international payments. Klarna is reported to process approximately $100 billion in payments annually and has a user base of over 114 million.
