BBVA launches pilot project to integrate blockchain in asset management

Spanish bank BBVA announced on its official website that its subsidiary, BBVA Asset Management, has launched a pilot project to apply blockchain technology to asset management. The subsidiary has registered a short-term fixed-income “tokenized” investment fund through the regulatory sandbox of the Spanish National Securities Market Commission (CNMV).
