Bitget initiates compensation process following VOXEL/USDT contract issue

Crypto exchange Bitget has launched a compensation process for users affected by abnormal activity in VOXEL/USDT perpetual futures trading. The exchange announced on X that it has largely completed trade rollbacks and account restoration for impacted users. Compensation for losses incurred during the incident is being prioritized. Additionally, Bitget is reviewing user feedback regarding potential fee overcharges and inaccurate profit and loss calculations following the rollback, and has initiated a secondary internal audit. The exchange stated it will promptly verify all concerns and ensure that no user suffers unjust losses.
