Crypto advocacy group urges U.S. Congress to support Digital Asset Market Clarity Act

Crypto advocacy group Stand With Crypto has called on U.S. House lawmakers to back the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act, according to The Block. The proposed legislation seeks to establish a comprehensive regulatory framework for digital assets, outlining oversight roles for the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), while also mandating retail disclosures and the segregation of corporate and customer funds. In a letter co-signed by over 65 organizations, including Mysten Labs, Archetype and OpenSea, the group warned that continued regulatory inaction could jeopardize the country's position as a global economic leader.
