U.S. Treasury targeting Garantex

The U.S. Department of the Treasury announced that its Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) is targeting the Russian cryptocurrency exchange Garantex. Garantex has already been designated as a target of U.S. sanctions. As a result of this latest action, all property and interests in property of people associated with Garantex that are in the United States must be reported to OFAC.
