Morgan Stanley predicts Fed will cut rates in September

Morgan Stanley expects the U.S. Federal Reserve to begin cutting interest rates in September, Walter Bloomberg reported. The firm anticipates an initial 25-basis-point cut in September, followed by another reduction in December. Subsequently, it projects quarterly cuts of 25 basis points through the end of 2026, bringing the target rate to a range between 2.75% and 3.0%.
