OpenMind partners with Circle to build payment infrastructure for Embodied AI

OpenMind, a developer of decentralized robot operating systems, has announced a partnership with Circle (CRCL) to jointly build infrastructure that will enable Embodied AI to conduct real-world payments and transactions. The collaboration will utilize OpenMind's robotics system alongside Circle's USDC stablecoin and its x402 payment protocol. In the proposed system, USDC will function as the unit of account and medium for value transfer, while the x402 protocol will provide the payment rails. OpenMind's embodied function stack is expected to determine the specifics of each transaction, including its timing, location, and method.
