BOSAGORA reports security breach, loss of 990M BOA tokens

The BOSAGORA (BOA) Foundation announced in a Medium post on Wednesday that it had experienced a security incident, leading to the unauthorized transfer of tokens to an external wallet. According to the incident report, approximately 990 million BOA were stolen from a bridge contract. The hacker then deposited 460 million BOA into the OrangeX exchange using three of six wallets. The foundation stated that it has suspended deposits and withdrawals on exchanges and is undergoing a police investigation. It added that it is reviewing all possible measures to recover the losses and resolve the issue. According to CoinMarketCap, BOA is currently trading at $0.003012, down 13.37%. Previously, the South Korean exchange Bithumb had suspended deposits and withdrawals for BOA and placed the asset on its delisting watchlist.
