Trump to announce his pick for open seat on Fed board this week

U.S. President Donald Trump plans to announce his nominee for a place on the Federal Reserve Board of Governors by the end of this week. Fed Governor Adriana Kugler announced her resignation from the board last week, with her resignation taking effect on August 8. This opens the door for President Trump to put forward a nominee.
