Hyperliquid to permit launch of futures DEXs for non-crypto assets

The decentralized exchange (DEX) Hyperliquid is activating its HIP-3 upgrade, which will permit the launch of futures DEXs for assets beyond cryptocurrencies, such as gold, silver, and unlisted stocks, The Block reported. Anyone staking over 500,000 HYPE will be able to launch a futures DEX without separate approval. These DEXs launched on Hyperliquid will be based on HyperEVM and will support safety mechanisms such as validator slashing and open interest caps.
