US indicts E-Note operator for alleged $70M crypto laundering

U.S. prosecutors have indicted Mykhalio Petrovich Chudnovets, a Russian national, for allegedly operating the cryptocurrency service E-Note. According to Decrypt, prosecutors allege that E-Note laundered $70 million in cryptocurrency generated from ransomware attacks and hacking.
