Spark to shut down Gnosis-based SparkLend service on Sept. 14

Spark Finance (SPK) said it will shut down SparkLend, its lending protocol on the Gnosis Chain, on Sept. 14. After the service ends, any outstanding loan positions could become subject to liquidation, and users should repay debt and withdraw collateral before the deadline. SparkLend launched on the Gnosis Chain in September 2023 and has been going through a phased wind-down since earlier this year amid low usage and minimal revenue.
