Family offices are showing interest in private cryptocurrency investments, but do not necessarily want token launches, OneAsset CEO Sonia Shaw said at Cointelegraph Connect in Singapore. A buy-the-dip strategy could be valid if Bitcoin falls further, Russell Thompson, chief investment officer at digital asset investment firm Hilbert Group, said in an interview with Crypto Briefing. Thompson said the $80,000-$81,000 range could serve as first support from a technical perspective, while a trendline around $77,000 could act as second support. He added that Bitcoin would need to break above $87,000, the top of its recent range, to confirm a clear bullish reversal. If it closes above that range ceiling on a daily basis, BTC could rise to $93,000-$97,000, Thompson said. He also said spot ETF outflows, rising oil prices amid conflict in the Middle East, and concerns over additional rate hikes by the Federal Reserve remain pressure factors for Bitcoin.

Tempo, a blockchain project backed by global payments infrastructure company Stripe, said a proposed U.S. accounting standards revision could accelerate corporate stablecoin adoption, according to Cointelegraph. In its latest report, Tempo said the proposal from the Financial Accounting Standards Board, or FASB, could remove a key barrier that has held back corporate stablecoin adoption. If implemented, qualifying stablecoins could be classified as cash equivalents on financial statements, which would make them more useful for corporate treasury management and operations, Tempo said. FASB plans to collect public comments on the proposal through Nov. 19 before deciding on a final version and implementation timing. CoinNess previously reported that FASB had proposed revising accounting standards to allow stablecoins to be classified as cash equivalents.

Aptos has officially launched an opt-in encrypted mempool on its mainnet to prevent MEV, or maximal extractable value, attacks. StoneX raised its price target on tokenized asset platform Securitize (SECZ) to $18 from $12, a 50% increase, while maintaining a buy rating. The brokerage said the upgrade reflects its view that the launch of the new “Securitize Stocks” platform, which brings real-world stocks including Apple, Nvidia and Tesla on-chain on Solana, has shifted the company away from a model reliant on simple linkage fees and toward a higher-margin model based on actual trading and settlement fees. StoneX estimated Securitize’s revenue will grow at a 65% compound annual rate to reach $198.5 million by 2028. It added that improving monetization on $5.3 billion in second-quarter trading volume and expanding liquidity in real-world assets, or RWAs, could drive a broader re-rating of the company’s valuation.

Bitcoin mining companies face a roughly $50 billion financing gap as they push to convert operations to AI and HPC infrastructure, Cointelegraph reported. The issue has become more acute as lenders apply stricter reviews to data center completion prospects and contract structures, widening borrowing-cost gaps across companies. At IREN, GPU loan rates rose from the 6% range in June to the 9% range in August, while Cipher gave up a 5.4% equity stake in exchange for a lease guarantee from Google, increasing the risk of shareholder dilution. According to VanEck and BlocksBridge data, major miners including IREN ($21.1 billion), Riot ($7.2 billion), and Hive ($4.6 billion) are showing signs of significant funding strain, making capital-raising capacity a key factor in corporate survival going forward.
